NYX 华沙酒店

If you're looking for an up-scale chic hotel in Warsaw, this is the one! It is about 5 min walk from the main train station and the major transport hub of Warsaw where it can take you to the old town, and anywhere else with ease and speed. The hotel is in a new tower with offices nearby. The room was extremely large, and in fact, it could do with a bit of a more elaborate sitting area to fill in the openness. We did not visit the roof top bar as it was windy and the it was closed. Breakfast was plentiful and a good assortment of Polish and North American foods. I found the staff very casually dressed, in T-shirt and jeans. Some of them were in hoodies which makes it hard to identify who was working there vs guests. I believe there is a balance of a more professional but yet still casual look, to preserve the hotel's "cool" vibe.

All guys from the bar were friendlly and nice to chat with. Room 1313 was with a good view to the city. Very clean room and a cleaner was a nice looking lady with a smile. Breakfast was fine except that bakery products on Monday seemed to be leftovers from the weekend :(. Overall llocation is perfect, very central with old town, shoppings and museums nearby. All that you need for exploring the city.

This hotel had friendly staff and excellent transport links, making it a great choice. The restaurant served good food, which was supposed to be a mix of Jewish and Polish cuisine. However, the main menu didn't feature any distinctively Jewish dishes, apart from shakshuka at breakfast. The restaurant staff were friendly but a bit too relaxed; they didn't pay much attention to us after we ordered, and didn't offer to top up our drinks or upsell wine during both lunch and dinner. We also had to wait 15 minutes for someone to attend to us when we asked for the bill. As a member of the Leonardo club, I was expecting a 15% discount on food and drinks, but the staff could only offer 10%. Despite these issues, we had a lovely stay and would still recommend this hotel.
